We invite you to a unique concert that will go down in the history of Polish jazz. Two true legends will perform on the stage of the Kijów Cinema – Adam Makowicz and Leszek Możdżer. As part of the inaugural concert of the jubilee 30th edition of the Summer Jazz Festival Kraków, an evening full of musical artistry and artistic magic awaits us.
Adam Makowicz – a master of the piano, a world-famous virtuoso, whose style combines classical sensitivity with a passion for jazz. His unique technique and sense of improvisation have delighted audiences for years, making each concert an unforgettable experience.
Leszek Możdżer – a phenomenal pianist and visionary of Polish jazz, who constantly pushes the boundaries of the genre, combining tradition with modernity. His performances are a combination of virtuosity, emotion and incredible expression.
Kijów Cinema will become an arena for the meeting of two generations and two extraordinary stage personalities. This evening will be full of harmony and dialogue between musicians who know exactly how to enchant the audience.

Kurt Elling & Yellowjackets Celebrate Weather Report
Kurt Elling & Yellowjackets Celebrate Weather Report is an exciting collaboration between two jazz giants who will combine the iconic music of Weather Report with bold new interpretations and their own unique style.
Grammy-winning vocalist Kurt Elling, whose distinctive baritone and talent for improvisation have won the hearts of music lovers around the world, will perform alongside the Yellowjackets – legends of jazz fusion who have shaped the genre for over four decades.
This performance will pay tribute to Weather Report’s groundbreaking legacy, while combining familiar classics with fresh new ideas, full of creativity and originality. This is an event not to be missed!

John Scofield Quartet
John Scofield’s Long Days Quartet feat. John Medeski, Vincente Archer & Ted Poor
Long Days Quartet is a name invented in honor of the long days in July. The newly formed group will debut in the summer of 2025 with new compositions by Scofield, but will also return to the classic Sco material in refreshed arrangements.
John Medeski and John Scofield have been working together for nearly 26 years (initial collaboration on the album A GoGo). Over the decades, they have released three albums and toured extensively. The summer of 2025 will bring them together with the brilliant and versatile bassist Vicente Archer and new band member Ted Poor on drums.

Marcus Miller

Marcus Miller has been present on the scene for 45 years, winner of many international awards and distinctions, m.in. two GRAMMY® statuettes and The Edison Jazz/World Award™ for lifetime achievement. In 2013, he was honored by UNESCO with the title of Artist for Peace and appointed a spokesperson for The Slave Route Project.
Marcus is a creator, producer, multi-instrumentalist and extremely prolific composer. His music has been shaped by collaborations with the greatest such as Eric Clapton, George Benson, Aretha Franklin, Brian Ferry, Wayne Shorter, Al Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, and especially Miles Davis, for whom he composed, recorded and produced historic albums (m.in. “Tutu”).
Performing on stage with young, talented musicians, he travels through the world of funk, soul and jazz. Over the years, Marcus Miller has shown that he knows perfectly well how to approach each of these genres and is excellent in all styles from their borderline.
